Tottenham Hotspur's Cameroonian speedster Clinton N'Jie has returned to full training with the club and will soon be in contention for matches.

Clinton has been out since he injured his knee in a Europa League match against Monaco back in December.
On Spurs' website, Clinton stated that he is "hungry" to return to full fitness and to get back into matches.

"It's very difficult for any injured player - it's been about three months since I was injured and it's been tough but I've been working very, very hard with the doctors and medical staff to get myself fit.

"It's important that I'm still hungry, I still want to play and I still want to prove to the fans what I can do so, for me, I just want to get back fit and do a good job.

"Mentally it hasn't been easy but it happens, so I've just been looking forward to coming back stronger. I can see the good job the guys are doing and I can't wait to get back onto the pitch and be part of it."

Clinton was a speedy ball of potential this season, and in his 11 appearances for the club often stretched defenses with his direct runs and skill on the ball. Still, Spurs fans never really got a chance to see what he could do.

Spurs' league lineup appears to be more or less set, but so long as Tottenham remains in the Europa League Clinton has a chance to get minutes, or to serve as an impact substitute against league opponents.

Still only 22, Clinton has a lot of room to grow yet, and based on his earlier appearances it looks like he'll be given every opportunity to make his mark in a Spurs shirt.

There's no indication yet as to when Clinton might be ready to make Spurs' bench, but just getting back to training is fantastic news. As Tottenham continues to push for titles on multiple fronts, they'll likely need all their players at some point or another.
