When the giants of Turkish football collide in Thursday night's Turkish Cup Final, Cameroon's Aurelian Chedjou will face off against Senegal's Abdoulaye Ba in a mini battle between Africans.

The two fierce rivals, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray, clash at 20h15 this evening in the Turkish Cup Play Off Final.

Chedjou's Galatasaray beat Rizespor 3-1 over two legs in the semifinal while Fenerbahce beat Konyaspor 5-0 over two legs in their semifinal.

Chedjou did not feature for Galatasaray in the semifinals, but started in the 2-1 quarterfinal first leg win over Akhisar Genclik Spor. The Cameroon international did not play in the second leg.

Ba, meanwhile, started for Fenerbahce in their semifinal first and second leg wins over Konyaspor.

Ba (25) was born in January 1991 in Saint-Louis, Senegal. The defender has also played in Spain and Portugal.

Chedjou is 30 and was born in June 1985 in Douala, Cameroon. The defender has also played in France.
