Cameroon will struggle to supply Eto'o - Ndo

Joseph Ndo believes that Cameroon will struggle at the World Cup, suggesting that Volker Finke's team are not adequately prepared for the tournament in Brazil.

Cameroon have been drawn in Group A where they will come up against the hosts, Brazil, as well as Mexico and Croatia, but Ndo says that he is not impressed by the team's style of play.

The former Cameroon international, who played in the 1998 World Cup and was involved in the 2002 World Cup campaign, thinks that the Indomitable Lions do not possess enough creativity to supply Samuel Eto'o and will find it difficult as a result.

"I don't think they've prepared very well," Ndo said.

"Their style of football doesn't appeal to me. They play three defensive midfielders which means their best player, Samuel Eto'o, won't get the supply he needs."

Having featured for Cameroon at two World Cup competitions, Ndo admitted that he was honoured to represent his country at the highest level but says that he will watch this year's tournament in order to learn.

"When I was younger, I followed the Cameroon team and was very passionate about their football," said the 38-year-old. "It was a great honour to be in the national squad for two World Cups but that's all in the past now.

"I will watch their games, of course, but it will to be learn more about football rather than supporting the national team.

"You can never stop learning about soccer so I'm looking forward to watching the best teams and players in the World over the next month."
