The Lionesses were motivated to face Nadeshiko, the Japan team in their second match in Vancouver. Cameroon’s Lionesses ranked 53rd in the world did not expect the game to turn out the way it did against Japan’s Nadeshiko, the defending champions and the world’s fourth.

The winner of the little final in Group C will join Japan and the first to be selected to qualify for the knockout.
