The adventure continues for Lion Blessé thanks to a brace from its center forward Paul Bara. The team from Fotouni defeated As Menoua this Saturday, September 19, 2015, at the Municipal Stadium in Mbouba, in a match of the 1/16 finals of the Cup of Cameroon. But the task was far from easy for foals of Wamba Petit Michel.

From the beginning of the match, they were soon cornered by a club of Western Regional League, obviously not afraid of being in front of a team of elite football in Cameroon. In the first quarter of the hour, AS Menoua came twice to opening the scores. First it was a powerful header from Tchamba but the ball is stopped by the crossbar (11th). Then the same player had his shot saved by goalkeeper Toumba (13th) of Lion Blesse. Shaken by Menoua, players of Lion Blesse came off their dullness to assert themselves.

Fortunately, they relied on their sharp duo consisting of Bara and Tchouanga. These artisans are the main attackers of their club. Taking advantage of a slight relaxation in the defense of As Menoua, Bara opened the scores for Lion Blesse (1-0, 21th). Now dominating, Lion Blesse multiplies other attacks that are inconsequential to the end of the first half.

On resumption, the host of the League 1 club failed to surprise her opponent. Play continued with AS Menoua trying to get an equalizer from their overpowered opponents. Thirsty for another goal, Bara managed to register his double with a beautiful volley from 20 meters (2-0, 91th). This goal buried any hope of As Menoua which from the first half seemed awake but on many occasions, missed the equalizer.
