Black starlets humiliate Lions at home 2-1

The Black Starlets of Ghana today humiliated the baby Lions at home 2-1 at the Amadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaounde during the first leg last round qualifier for the 2015 Nations Cup in Niger.

The lackluster game that started with the lions showing lack of cohesion in play as the Ghanaian dominated opening scores at the 30th minute through Agyiri Ernest.

Issah Abass increased tally 10 minutes late to give the Starlets a lead only for Hongla Yma to reduce scores as the referee, Jean Jacques Ndalla Ngambo sounded the end of the first half.

Despite frantic efforts to level scores, the baby lions squandered their opportunities to equalise and even increase tally shooting wide and equally reduced their chances of qualifying for the Nations Cup in Niger next year.
