Banyana Banyana beat hosts Cameroon 2-0 in Douala on Easter Friday in the first of two international friendly matches.
The second friendly will take place on Monday, 28 March and coach Vera Pauw’s charges will look forward to wrap up a good work-out ahead of the upcoming Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
In Easter Friday’s encounter, Banyana Banyana went to the break leading 1-0 through a goal by defender Lebohang Ramalepe before rounding off a good win with a second-half goal by industrious Mpumi Nyandeni.
The match marked a historic moment for captain Janine van Wyk who was playing in her 124th match for Banyana Banyana to match Portia Modise record.
