Bafana trio to miss Cameroon clash

Bafana Bafana Bafana Bafana

Bafana Bafana will be without three key players when they take on Cameroon in their 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Tuesday.

Goalkeeper, Darren Keet (stomach bug), and defenders, Anele Ngcongca (calf muscle) and Thabo Matlaba (concussion) have all been ruled out for the must-win tie.

Ngcongca started in the 2-2 with the Indomitable Lions on Saturday, but was replaced by Rivaldo Coetzee just before the halftime break.

Matlaba lasted the full 90 minutes for Shakes Mashaba’s side over the weekend, while Keet was an unused substitute.

Mashaba’s side have only picked up two points in Group M and will need to secure victory if they have any hope securing a ticket to the Afcon.

The match is scheduled to get underway a 19h00.
