Bafana depart for Cameroon

Shakes Mashaba and his team departed for Cameroon this morning as they look to get 2016 off to a winning start in Limbe.

Bafana Bafana jetted out of OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg earlier today, and are expected to get to their destination later this evening as they prepare for Saturday's encounter.

The national team – who have lost just once in seven meetings with the Indomitable Lions – face two crunch matches with Hugo Broos' side over the course of the next week as they look to keep their hopes of qualifying for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations alive.

Bafana first face Cameroon on their turf on Saturday afternoon, before returning to take them on in Durban at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Mashaba's men are currently bottom of Group M after drawing with Gambia and losing to Mauritania; however, they will be hoping they can get their first win of 2016 this weekend.
