Arsenal are in talks with Barcelona goalkeeper Andrey Onana over a summer switch to the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners have already raided Barca’s famed youth academy once this summer, agreeing a deal for Germany Under-17 star Georgios Spanoudakis.
But Spanish newspaper MD says Arsenal have now returned and want to sign 18-year-old glovesman Onana on a long-term contract.
According to the paper, Arsene Wenger was personally recommended him by trusted scout Francis Cagigao after months of monitoring.
Arsenal want a quick answer from Onana as to whether he wants to move to the club or they will pursue other goalie targets.
It’s thought that if a deal can be agreed, the Cameroon-born youngster would be third choice behind Wojciech Szczesny and arriving Nice star David Ospina.
