Arsenal, Man United and Chelsea ready to move for N’Koulou

Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea are all ready to fight it out over Cameroonian defender Nicolas N’Koulou from Marseille, claims the Daily Star.

The 24-year-old has been in impressive form for Marcelo Bielsa’s Marseille side, forming a formidable partnership with Brazilian defender Doria.

His form has been so impressive that a host of Premier League sides are looking to securing his signature, with the Daily Star claiming that Man United, Chelsea and Arsenal are all keen on the centre-back after he impressed during the African Cup of Nations with Volker Finke’s Cameroon.

N’Koulou had already been a target for a Premier League side, after Sam Allardyce was linked with a move for the 24-year-old as a replacement for Winston Reid, as reported by the Daily Mail in December.

Despite being heavily linked with a move away from Ligue 1, N’Koulou has claimed that he could not leave Marseille because he still owes them a lot and wants to help improve their form, as reported by the Metro.

Arsenal have already added a defender to their ranks this month, after Arsene Wenger confirmed that Gabriel Paulista is set to join the Gunners tomorrow from La Liga side Villarreal with Joel Campbell heading in the opposite direction, as reported by the BBC.
