The goal scored by Vincent Aboubakar wasn’t enough to prevent Cameroon from losing, this Monday, to France, 3-2, in a friendly played at the La Beajoire Stadium.

The white and blue striker, who was the captain for Cameroon, made the best out of a low cross from the right, and tied the match 22 minutes in, just two minutes after the French moved ahead on the scoreboard, thanks to the goal scored by Matuidi.

Close to the break, Giroud put the team led by Deschamps in the lead again. With two minutes to go until the end of regular time (Aboubakar had been replaced 70 minutes in), the African team tied the match again, by Coupo-Moting (88m).

And when everything seemed set, Dimitri Payet offered the victory to France, from a perfect free-kick, on minute 90.

Aboubakar achieved his 44th cap for the main national team and scored his 13th goal for the Indomitable Lions.
