2016 AFCON:CAF Delegation en route to SW Region

The Delegation from the Federation of African Football (CAF) has left Yaounde for the South West Region in line with their inspection tour of sports and lodging facilities ahead of the 2016 Female Africa Cup of Nations to be held in Cameroon.

Before leaving for the South West Region, the delegation headed by Leodeger Chilla Tengar visited the Yaounde Omnisport Stadium and the military training grounds as well as the four accredited hotels that will accomodate the players and officials.

At the hotels, the CAF delegation recommended that single rooms be changed into twin rooms.

They also mentioned that meeting rooms be divided into two: a section for the briefing and the other for the dinning.

The delegation also visited the parking lot of the various hotels.

At the end of the visit, the hotel attendants indicated their readiness to upgrade their facilities as requested by the CAF officials.
