2015 AFCON qualifiers: Sierra Leone joins Lions group

The lions group which was initially made up of Côte d'Ivoire and DR Congo for the eliminatory stage of African Nations Cup of "Morocco 2015", has seen Sierra Leone included in the group after Seychelles withdrawal.

In effect, "the Seychelles Football Federation informed CAF of their withdrawal in the eliminatory stage of the Orange African Cup of Nations, Morocco 2015" reads part of the release on the website of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

The authorities in charge of Seychelles football have informed CAF on Thursday, giving the second leg against Sierra Leone on Saturday preprogrammed and counting for the second round of qualifying for the CAN 2015.

It should be recalled that during the first leg that took place in Freetown, Sierra Leone beat visiting Seychelles 2-0.

Seychelles will certainly suffer the ire of African football authority for this package.
