Fako SDO vows to discipline misfits in transport sector

The disorder that prevails in the transport sector in Fako division has been decried by the Senior Divisional Officer.

This was highlighted by Zang III, at a consultative meeting related to the transport sector of the Division, held at the Limbe I council hall on Thursday, February, 5.

According to Zang III, the transport sector is facing a lot of difficulties that must be redressed considering the fact that, the sector has an important role to play in the community.

The SDO listed some of the difficulties faced by the sector which include conflicts between members of the different trade unions and even within the same trade union and also the disrespect of administrative authorities, just to name a few.

“This must stop or else serious measures will be taken on members who want to create confusion in the town,” said the Senior Divisional Officer.

The SDO noted that, conflicts in the transport sector tempers with peace and order which is much needed in the community.
