Former journalist Henri-Michel Ekwalla dies at 62

Henri-Michel Ekwalla, a 62 years old retired journalist was found dead at his home in Deido on Tuesday afternoon, 2nd December 2014.

According to police of the 9th district, odours from his home attracted the attention of neighbors who reported the incident to them.

Neighbours disclosed to police that nobody had seen the deceased for two days. Calls from friends and tenants also remained unanswered. When police arrived at the scene, the deceased was half-naked and lying on his back at the corridor that leads to his room. They found the body in an advanced state of decomposition. For now, it is hard to say the exact cause of his death.

His mortal remains has however, been deposited at the mortuary in a hospital in Deido district, and an investigation has been opened to find out the actual cause of his death.
