Pastor exchange blows with bar manager

The confrontation between a pastor and bar manager took place Sunday, November 30, 2014, in the Nkolmesseng neighbourhood in Yaoundé V.

In this area at Nkolmesseng, a revival church and bar share the same building, and on the other side there exist the temple of Bacchus and Jésus Christ. For sometime now, managers of these places have been living under very tense relationship.

On Sundays, services which take place in the Church of revival strongly disturbed people in the neighbourhood. So while the faithfuls raise their voice in prayers, Madam X operating in a snack bar near the Church, would also open loud music to counter that from the church.

The pastor confronted her on several occasions to bring his neighbour to reason with him but his complaints were never taken into account. Last Sunday, instead of dealing with the issue diplomatically, the man of God rather sent gangs to the bar manager.

The pastor reportedly, jumped on the owner of the bar as a violet brawl ensued. This show attracted a huge crowd to the scene.
