Forces mobilize against cross-border insecurity in Batouri

This was during the occasion of a seminar, held 30 August which brought together local councilors and parliamentarians of the CPDM, elites and chiefs.

Batouri, capital of the Department of the Kadey, took the relay for the training of series of local representatives of the CPDM to improve relations with parliamentarians (deputies and senators) on the one hand and the relations with the local administrative authorities and traditional leaders, on the other hand. “This seminar is the continuation of that of Bertoua, held recently.

This is the same training to be given in our departments to build our local elected officials. And we have therefore come to maintain our brothers and sisters, local officials in charge of political animation to the daily life of the party at the base," explained the Minister , Emmanuel Bondé who presided over the work that took place 30 August at the CPDM Batouri permanence.

The guests, all local elected representatives, responded massively to this appeal, to listen to the message of the emissaries of the central Committee of the CPDM.

This training promised support in the fight against cross-border insecurity, against the Islamist sect Boko Haram that is rife in the region of the far North.

For the first part, essentially political, the exhibitors of the day, Senator Jean Mboundjo, Salomon Djangoua and Dodo, explained, by practical examples, how the CPDM Mayor, pillar of local development, must treat his image, manager his municipality, maintain good relationships with local elected representatives, parliamentarians, local authorities, traditional leaders and elites to escape intrigues and gossip, and be a gatherer, available to adapt to the evolution of time.

The other, purely economic component consisted of the presentation of agricultural, mining and industrial opportunities in the Kadey, through three presentations. Trade in game questions and answers helped everyone to be better built and better informed.
