PAID WA Training Reinforces Dev't of North West

A new phase of development has been ushered into the North West Region since the inception of the Bamenda learning support centre of the Pan African Institute for Development (PAID-WA).

That was the message when some 64 students recently emerged as Project Planning Managers, Human Resource Developers, Marketing, Accounting and Business Experts from the Centre whose other ambition is to introduce more programmes to cover Solar Energy Management and maintenance, Small Satellite Building, Global Monitoring Space System, IT in Logistic Programming and Security Management, among others.

The event was the graduation of the second batch from the support Centre with the administration of the North West hailing the population for embracing the facility that has come to help development radiate across the Region. It was against this backdrop that Dr Kini Fongod of PAID-WA told participants that the Bamenda Support Centre has enjoyed a steady rise in enrolment in barely two years since inception and the institution will soon be jumping for joy with the construction of a permanent site in the neighbourhood of Bamenda. Created 43 years ago as a reference in the domain of development, PAID-WA recently took root in Bamenda with opportunities for inhabitants to train in middle and high level staff imbued with the values of democracy, equity, good governance etc.

The Coordinator of the Bamenda Learning support Centre, Emmanuel Kaba, also told the press about PAID-WA's armada of fine brains who offer Diploma and Masters Decree courses in collaboration with credible foreign Universities. Curtains later dropped on the event with the Economic, Social and Cultural Adviser in the NW Governor's office; Joseph Nji hailing PAID-WA's unique approach to development which according to him is dynamic, innovative and adaptive to changes that enable the African environment to promote participative and sustainable development.
