Youth undergo holiday training program at secretariat office

About 20 young holidaymakers trained in the field of Information Technology organised by the association, Fan Club Nkongsamba Fm, received their certificates after two months of training on the field, office secretariat.

This second edition called “computerized holiday season II, was sponsored by the sociologist Gorges Lekama.”

The handing of certificates took place within the confines of the parish of Fraounton in Nkongsamba in the presence of the sponsor of the training and the second Deputy youth Mayor, the promoter of the association Mr Dieudonné Tebaya, Mr Esso Mbongue, parents and friends of the recipients, and several guests. The ceremony came after a series of activities carried out by learners during the week.

The association, Fan club Nkongsamba Fm, in collaboration with a group of computer scientists offered holiday classes in computer science courses to young people from Nkongsamba and its surroundings irrespective of gender, ethnicity and religious affiliation.

The classes were followed by Dieudonné Tebaya, also president of the Fan Club, co-led by some members of the Group and its professionals who established the work schedule.

In this century, no development or business sector could be possible if it does not take into account the computer. It was in this context that the computerized vacation project was born. Aware of the difficulties of young people to access this tool, they were presented with the initiative to create this innovative concept with well-defined objectives.

The main objective of this project was to familiarize young people with computer skills and master the Soft and Hard Ware. The secondary objectives made available were to introduce the young people in the field of Informatics; equip them with knowledge in different software; how to mount a PPT (Power Point).

It also included other training programs such as Word, Excel, Publisher, Acces (Environment hardware and software;windows Environment ; typing on the computer ; Treatment of texts and tables; graphics management ; data base; management and treatment of images and photos ; usage of electronic agenda; internet Navigation.

The president made some suggestions for the next editions, such as being accompanied by partners like the departmental Delegation of youth and Civic Education, the prefectures, the decentralized territorial communities (Communes) corporate citizenship, patrons or individual persons.
