Two new new multipurpose TV community centers (Tcp) have been installed in Campo and Bipindi in the South Region.

The Minister of Posts and Telecommunications (MINPOSTEL), Jean Pierre Biyiti Bi Essam, conducted the official opening on Monday, August 3, 2015.

Thanks to these two infrastructures of "high technological value", inhabitants of Campo and Bipindi can now access almost the whole country in terms of full range of telecommunication, computer and audiovisual and the high speed broadband internet services.

With both Tcp centers, just like the hundred already installed throughout Cameroon, residents of this part of Southern Cameroon will specifically become familiar with various office tools, telephone, Internet, fax and television. .

Addressing the people, Minister Jean Pierre Biyiti Bi Essam highlighted "all the worries of President Paul Biya concerning the digital divide in rural areas." He also said that these infrastructures are a valuable support by the government in the development of projects for progress at the hinterland.

MINPOSTEL delegation for the inauguration of these two digital infrastructure for easy access, according to Minister Biyirti Bi Essam, were Jules Doret Ndongo, the elite Ocean Division, the Director General of the Telecommunications Regulatory Agency (ART), the Director General of the National Agency for information and communications technology (Antic), Ebot Ebot Enaw, and major administrative authorities of the South region. The delegation of government members came from Yaounde.

Meanwhile, the grievances of the people in areas like Campo were not covered by MINPOSTEL even though they are to benefit from the project. The inhabitants justified this by stating that "the minister representing the government hardly comes here."

Thus, they complained of not receiving signal from CRTV, and are faces with poor road conditions everyday. Minister Jean Pierre Biyiti Bi Essam was content to say that the government will address the problems facing the Campo community.
