Trader Lazare Neguem donates to Saint-Nicodème de Brazzaville

A trader called Lazare Neguem donated hardware, didactic materials, bags of salt, rice, cleaning products to the Saint-Nicodème de Brazzaville orphanage in 3rd Douala on Thursday.

The children and staff at this orphanage were filled with emotions stating that year 2015 has started well for them.

According to the donor, it is necessary to contribute to the education of these young people who did not have the chance to grow up in family and to put a smile on their faces.

The chain of homes at Saint-Nicodème is the initiative of a nun, Marie Roumy, who died a few years ago. Her objective was to contribute to the reintegration of young people in difficult situations, disadvantaged children etc.

Since its inception in 1996, 2,500 young people have already been accompanied. Currently, they have 45 educated children in the home, 30 are training in partner structures of the city. Some artists at the place added a twist to the ceremony.
