Prelate mind-transforming books launch at CUIB

Two books titled; ‘Hard Readings from my Spiritual Diary: The Effects of Sanballat on Visioning and Transformative Social Change’ and ‘The Unquenched Candle Light: The stories of CUIB 2007-2014’, have been launched by Rev. Fr. George Nkeze and Dr. George Atem, respectively.

Over 300 participants attended the book launch which took place on the CUIB campus on recently.

According to Rev. Fr. Nkeze, his inspiration for writing this Christian piece was prompted by his desire to share his faith with his community in terms of visioning: “My message is that obstacles should not take you away from realising your God-given vision, instead, it should lead you to that vision.

These challenges are assigned by God for a purpose,” Nkeze said.

To Nkeze, his book is very vital in the CUIB community because, as entrepreneurs, the students will experience a lot of innovation and creativity which will bring about enormous change to the institution.

“I am preparing the minds of my students who are entrepreneurs so that, as they convey change in the communities, they should not be naïve,” Nkeze added.

He explained further to The Post that entrepreneurs from the CUIB institution, in an attempt to bring about change, will come across situations where people will dissuade them from ideas that can enhance the development of the nation.

Nkeze, therefore, advised; “They should be courageous because, when God gives them an idea and inspires them, let them believe in those ideas and God will lead them to their goals.”

About 3,000 copies of the book have been printed and Nkeze hopes it will transform the life of anyone who reads the book for it nourishes the mind.
