PCC extends humanitarian gesture to displaced Bawuru victims

Presbytery officers of Menchum supported by the Synod of the PCC recently donated gifts and materials worth 500 000 FCFA to victims displaced by tribal conflicts and Boko Haram actions in Bawuru.

The donation took place in Bawuru Congregation after which the delegation led by the Rev Anjoabum George, Presbyterial Secretary for Menchum, in their usual ecumenical nature, handed some gifts equally to some authorities of the Apostolic and Roman Catholic Churches not forgetting to extend their humanitarian gesture to the Fondom.

The PCC delegation through the Rev Anjoabum, called on the Bawuru people to walk as Jesus did, living peaceful Lives while avoiding anything which will bring them trouble.

He noted that the PCC has continuously striving to show love practically, reason why they had to visit and sympathise with the displaced victims and also provide them with some aid.

During the visit, the delegation did not fail to pay visits to some victims who were greatly affected by this displacement. The Bawuru community were so overwhelmed with the concern and humanitarian gesture by the PCC and only showered the Church with many blessings for them to continue doing more.
