The Women's Association of Orange Cameroon organized the 11th edition of its 'Operation Back to School’ for the 2015 academic year.
On this occasion, the company said in a statement that 250 school kits were provided to children and young people from disadvantaged social backgrounds.
Each kit contained "a binder, pencils and pens, books for the curriculum by class, and a sum representing the registration fee per child."
With 100 members, the Women's Association of Orange, "is born from the desire to unite around the ideals of development and solidarity,” according to sources.
Also, the association's fundamental mission is to offer assistance to disadvantaged social groups, through programs such as the school year operation, training single mothers and the establishment of community libraries.
