Mbankomo: Two killed in road crash

Two people died on November 30, 2015, in Mbankomo, 27 km from Yaounde on the highway to Douala after a Toyota Yaris saloon car collided head-on with a Toyota mini-bus.



The two vehicles only had temporary registration numbers. According to sources at the Mbankomo Gendarmerie “Brigade” or post, the car was driving in from Douala, while the bus left Yaounde for Eseka in Nyong and Kelle Division of the Centre Region.

The dead people were all from the Toyota Yaris car. The wounded were rescued and rushed to hospital with the assistance of the Emergency Centre of the Yaounde Central Hospital and the Fire Service.
