Man crushed by truck in Douala

A 27-year old man has been crushed to death by a truck in Douala. Our source revealed that he was returning from work on his personal motorbike when he met his untimely death.

The trader reportedly left his workplace at PK 14 for his residence at Beedi. When he got to an area called “Ancien Sonel” he was trying to pave way for another commercial motorbike rider hence did not notice the heavy-duty vehicle coming from the opposite direction.

According to an eyewitness account, the trader and his motorbike were knocked downed and crushed by the truck. The remains of the deceased has been deposited at the Cité des Palmiers District Hospital Mortuary.
