Man buried on river bank in Edea

The 40-year-old was discovered dead in River Sanaga on Thursday, October 29, 2015, by fishermen.

Given the advanced state of decomposition, the body was buried on the river bank in the presence of security men and grief-stricken family members.

Also around to pay homage to the departed were passers-by and a crowd of curious onlookers.

The cause of the man’s death, who is not a fisherman, is yet to be determined.
