Kumba: Identity of fake soldier unveiled

The kumba Central Police Unit has arrested 24-year old Alain Azonga Valentine for faking his identity as a soldier.

Alain Azonga Valentine, who was arrested by operatives of the Kumba Central Police Station, claimed the uniform was for him to wear and do his farm work, but he decided to put it on and come right to Kumba.

The fake soldier said he makes his living by fetching and selling fuel from the Buea Mountain.

According to the Commissioner of the Kumba Central Police Station, Nelson Elong Njumenjikang, the fake military man will be sent to the Legal Department for the Senior State Counsel to decide his fate.

Elong Njumenjikang further said more efforts put up by his police department have recorded success like the recent arrest of suspects with bags of marijuana in Kumba amidst many other recent cases.
