Ghastly accident in Kumba leaves one dead

A Nigerian has been crushed to dead in a ghastly motor accident at Kang Barombi - Kumba.

Eyewitnesses testify that the unfortunate incident occurred when a 4X4 Toyota Hilux on high speed to Douala lost control and knocked down a commercial bike rider, and his Nigerian passenger.

unfortunately, an incoming car from Buea run over the Nigerian, who died at the spot.

The 4X4 Hilux driver, who had sensed danger, attempted to escape but was tracked down by the police at Muyuka.

The remains of the deceased has been taken to the Hope Hospital mortuary in Kossala 3 Kumba while injured victims are receiving treatment at the Kumba General Hospital for medical attention.
