General Ezo'o mobilizes his troop in Ebolowa

Brigadier Simon Ezo'o Mvondo is back from Yaoundé, where he was promoted to Brigadier General, in order to put his troop on the lookout since the enemy still lurks around.

It was a warm and sunny Monday August 24, at the command post of the 11th Motorized Infantry Brigade (BRIM) of Ebolowa. The Ebolowa military garrison welcomed its new Brigadier General.

Simon Ezo'o Mvondo left with his colonel’s stripes to Yaoundé and returned with two strapped star as General. He was welcomed at the entrance to the city by all the military chiefs. Simon Ezo'o Mvondo was also congratulated by Colonel Anne Bella Nkoto, commander of the South gendarmerie legion, second in command of BRIM 11th , Colonel Hans Atekwana, and all other military bodies.

After the appraisal of the troop a ceremony was organized in honor of the 11th BRIM command post on the heights of Mount Ebolowa. At the heart of reunion, the new Brigadier, Simon Ezo'o Mvondo, found the right words to give real meaning to the ceremony.

"I am enthused to be here with my men," he said immediately, before adding: "What I ask of them is to cooperate with me, in absolute terms, all the confidence the head of State has placed in me by elevating me to the rank of General."

To do this, he continued, "we will work even harder to fight unreservedly these barbarians of the Boko Haram sect and other things threatening peace and stability in Cameroon", before concluding "Boko Haram is not a matter of Kolofata and others. It can also reach us. We must and will remain vigilant in the Southern Regions and especially of the East.”

Simon Ezo'o Mvondo reaffirmed his determination to demonstrate that the general's to combat insecurity and where his men are called to defend the integrity of the national territory.
