Funds made available for the marking of FSLC diverted in Mfoundi

CEP CEP

The commission of the first School living certificate, FSLC whose work ends today complain about the payment of 32% of the amount allocated by the State.

Yesterday, at l’école du centre administratif, a misunderstanding was noted at the centre. The examiners of the certificate of primary education FSLC known in French as CEP, an exam which marks the end of the school year at the Ministry of Basic Education were angry.

"Call channel 2", "we need to bring Conac here" or "enough is enough, each year the same persons grow fat and we who work, we get nothing," noted some teachers who responded to the call to mark papers for the FSLC.

In principle, once teachers hand over their notebooks, they are on vacation, too. The work which requires them to monitor FSLC pupils, the correction of the copies and public result is within the vacation period.

In Mfoundi, the permanent secretariat for 2015, was divided into two centers: the first centre, Mfoundi 1 at école du Centre and the second, Mfoundi 2 at l’école publique de Nkolndongo.

An examiner at the Mfoundi 1 centre noted, "we marked about 22,200 copies by discipline and there are 12. They asked me to get 8,000 CFA francs as advance. When and where do we collect the rest of our money. Since Thursday, June 11, 2015, by the meeting of instructions, we work from 7: 00 to 5.30. We have done our work well and it is necessary that we get what is due to us."

They were informed that the hierarchy has made available 32% of vacation cost for everyone at the moment. Mfoundi has approximately 38,000 candidates for the 2015 FSLC.

Minedub had summoned 182 markers, but only 125 were present. Nkolndongo permanent secretariat, which regroups candidates in Yaoundé 4 districts (about 10,000 candidates for 12 markers) and Yaoundé 5 (about 5,000 candidates for 10 proofreaders) started work Friday, June 12, 2015 with two rulers, as material. It is on June 16 that a few didactic tools arrived.

The Director of examinations made a tour of the site of the markers Wednesday, June 17 at Nkolndongo, to have the feedback on the conduct of marking. She found the staff very angry.

According to a source at the secretariat, she noted, "you are victims of mismanagement and embezzlement carried out by inspectors. I advise you to prepare at the end of the work a report which gives an insight of what happened here so that everyone is responsible for his actions".
