Far North: Heavy rains cause enormous material damage

Heavy downpours, which caused flooding in the city of Maroua, have resulted in the massive destruction of properties.

The governor of the region, Midjiyawa Bakary, visited the area to see for himself the extent of the damage to come up with possible solutions on how best it can be solved.
