Eleven best 2015 baccalauréat students encouraged in Yabassi

Eleven best students of the Nkam department, for the 2015 Baccalauréat, have each received a support of FCFA 100 000 on Tuesday August 18 in Yabassi.

The gesture of Mbog Liaa cultural association, chaired by Jerome Minlend, requested for a premium on academic excellence. So there were smiles of satisfaction in the auditorium of theYabassi town hall.

Members of the ‘eleven’ were well rewarded and did not hide their joy. For Giulia Koumayeb, winner of the German A4 baccalauréat and now former student of Yingui High School, it's a real bonus. "My mother told me she did not know how she was going to send me to university," said the young girl deeply moved.

Traditional leaders of Nkam also appreciated the initiative, which is a kind of respect made by the Mbog-Liaa, at the 20th anniversary when the Nkam leaders were present on June 13 in Edea. This reconciliation is also supposed to awaken young people on cultural issues.
