ELECAM: New regional delegate installed

Joséphine Essama has been installed as the new regional delegate of Elections Cameroon (Elecam) in a ceremony chaired by Abdoulaye Baagii.

The ceremony, presided by Abbas Baagii at the municipal circle, marked the commitment of the Director general of Elections to the persons appointed by the electoral Council services, without delay.

Josephine Essama is a lecturer at the University of Yaoundé II-Soa. She was previously head of the departmental agency of Elecam at Afamba Mefou.

She will now coordinate the activities of 10 departmental agencies and 70 communal aerials; structures that have been able to achieve 36.849 new inscriptions on the electors lists since the launch of the process of revision of files.
