Douala: Policeman turns "Rambo" to stop a taxi driver

To be obeyed by a reluctant taxi driver, an officer of the National Police with the duty of checking traffic, jumped like an athlete and like the actor in "Rambo" on top of a vehicle on Friday in Akwa, the business district of the economic capital.

He acted at the disregard of passers by whose attention was drawn to the incident.

It is not uncommon to see police in spectacular interventions on the road in Cameroon especially "fights" between taxi drivers and the policemen.

These confrontations between police officers and taxi drivers are often very violent when taxi drivers refuse to stop to be checked or refuse to bribe the police.
