Douala Maritime Museum reopened

The Douala Maritime Museum has re-opened its doors to the public.

The museum which is one of the largest in Africa is being managed by the Cameroon National Shippers’ Council (CNCC).

It was closed down about seven months ago, after a fire incident.

Tourists and curious Cameroonians can now visit the facility which showcases Cameroon’s rich culture and maritime objects.
