Douala-Bafoussam Highway: 33 injured in accident

Some 33 persons are receiving medical care in Douala and some medical centres in the Moungo Division following an accident on Wednesday night near Njombe. About 12 of the victims that were onboard a 70-seater bus that left Douala for Bafoussam are said to be badly hurt.

The 70-seater bus tumbled near Njombe in the Moungo Division under imprecise circumstances. Some of the victims onboard the public transport bus were rushed to health care centres in Mbanga and Njombe while others were taken to the Laquintinie hospital in Douala.
