Douala - About 200 packets of drugs seized in Bonadibong

Ninety-five sachets of Thai, 74 packets of cannabis, 21 packets of cocaine, five tablets of Tramol and a pair of scissors were on March 8th seized from five individuals in Bonadibong.

Following a tipoff, the 3rd District Public Security Police Station at Camp Bertaud, and the Central Police Station N°1 in Bonanjo stormed the area in Bonadibong known as "Ghetto", seized 195 packets of harmful drugs and arrested culprits. The March 8 police operation led to the highest quantity of drugs snatched in one night of late in the port city. The operation was carried out at 10 pm at the peak of the 31th International Women's Day celebration.

The close to 200 packets of harmful drugs and the five culprits are currently helping the police with investigations at the Central Police Station n°1 in Bonanjo. The police operation is in line with the fight against the possession, consumption and sale of harmful drugs in the economic capital.
