Cotco offers 22 million CFA francs for school supplies to best students in Nanga-Eboko

Cameroon Oil Transportation Company (Cotco), the company that manages the Cameroonian portion of Chad-Cameroon pipeline, has just rewarded the best students in primary schools and secondary in the Borough of Nanga-Eboko, in the region of the Centre, announced the company.

In total, 864 students received vouchers for a total value of 22 million francs Cfa, to enable them to buy school supplies for the next academic year. Commenting on this gesture by Cotco, the Mayor of Nanga-Eboko, Romain Roland Eto, stated that "Cotco is a capitalist enterprise with a human face. By targeting youth, it made a bet on the future.

Guillaume Kwelle, the Director of public relations at Cotco, took this opportunity to reaffirm that the oil company intends to "carry out this action every year which a e symbol of the recognition of academic excellence. Well before Nanga-Eboko this year, the towns of Belabo, Belel, Touboro, Ngoumou et Lolodorf, all crossed by the Chad-Cameroon pipeline, have already benefited from this action carried out by Cotco.
