CUIB Presidential Debate continues...

Following the first STUGA presidential debate which saw Momo Bertrand of the Progress Alliance party leading with a score of 42.5 on 50, tightly followed by Nguekam Loic of the Saints and Scholars party, with Teke George of the EoC party at the bottom, the second presidential debate for the 2014/2015 academic year rolled with the contestants more confident and prepared for day 2 of the debate.

The contestants vying for the presidential post challenged each other on major issues concerning STUGA and the institution. The debated on the value of STUGA, their vision for STUGA, its benefits to students, entrepreneurship and their vision for the first upcoming commencement event.

After a much heated exchange of responses on these issues by the candidates Nguekam Loic of the Saints and Scholars party carried the day with 48.3 on 50 followed by Teke George of the EoC party with 46.5 and Momo Bertrand the Progress Alliance party at 45.9.

Worthy to note is the fact that candidates were evaluated on mastery of the questions, articulation, gestures and time management.
