Batchingou : Traditional leader beaten by subjects

The traditional leader of Batchingou, His Majesty André Nana Flaubert, was beaten by his subjects on Wednesday night.

The subjects accused him of dictatorial attitudes and exploitation through his businesses in the village which he doesn't involve the people in its management.

They first expressed their anger through leaflets which they distributed throughout the Department of Ndé before moving into action.

The prefect of the Nde department said he expects to find common grounds between the leader and his subjects.
