Bafoussam gives green light to unity and peace

The population turned out massively to take part in the celebration at place des fêtes. For his first celebration of the feast of unity in Bafoussam, the Governor Augustine Awa Fonka was not bored.

In over 3 hours, he saw and appreciated the interval steps and the artistic genius of the security forces during the military parade, the students, training institutes and parties during civilian parade.

Institutions, as usual, once more showed lots of creativity in the choice of their dresses, their gestures and messages relayed to snatch the favors of the rating Committee. And in this game, lycée classique at the secondary level and l’Arche des photons at primary school won first place for the parade.

Before these distinctions, citizens recognized for their dynamism at work received decorations from the Governor. This is the case of Senator Sylvestre Ngouchinghe, who was made grand officer of the order of value.

The military parade rolled out the equipment and men available to the national army to deal with any type of attacks. Under the leadership of lieutenant colonel Félix La paix Evindi, this phase of celebration in Bafoussam has been fairly disciplined, which tore the bursts of applause from the crowd.
