Bafoussam Airport receives three fire trucks

In preparation towards AFCON 2019, three new fire fighting vehicles have been approved by the Bafoussam Airport on Tuesday.

This is another step taken in anticipation of the Africa Cup of Nations 2019 which will enable Bafoussam to receive officials. Indeed, Bafoussam Airport has acquired these three new fire vehicles to raise its level of fire protection. This package offered by the aviation authority consists of three vehicles.

A fire vehicle of average power with a capacity of 6,000 litres of water and 800 litres of foam concentrates; a vehicle of small power of 4,000 litres of water and 6,000 litres of foam, and a fast vehicle with a capacity of 50kg.

These vehicles which meet the International standards prescribed by the ICAO were presented to the Governor of the Western region, Awa Fonka Augustine.
