6-year-old pupil dies after consuming ‘Alaska’ in Douala

The inhabitants of Ndogbong, a neighbourhood in Douala are in total shock following the sudden death of six-year-old Emmanuela Yomta.

She died shortly after consuming an iced toffee (beverage) commonly called “Alaska” in Douala.

The incident occurred on Friday November 6, 2015. According to the little girl’s class teacher, Marcelle Bekalle, the deceased showed no sign of ill-health during the day.
