21-year old woman kills, dumps twin babies into toilet

A young Cameroonian lady of about 21 years is accused of haven suffocated her twin daughters in the Nkoldongo neighborhood in Yaoundé.

“After eight months of pregnancy, she performed an abortion, after which she forced her twin daughters into the toilet with a pestle,” a police officer revealed to Kaoci.

To justify the deed, the girl confessed that she wanted to go back to school for the 2015-2016 academic year. This motivated her to carry out the act in her first statements.

The phenomenon of children being aborted and disposed in the dust bin is common in Cameroon. Sometimes the culprits remain untraceable. Observers justified this, based on the level of impoverishment of the population.
