167 pupils receive academic excellence awards from elites in Nde

On September 27, 167 pupils in various establishments in the Department of the Nde received incentives for their academic performance.

Ajamah Ghodsi and Konda Ulrich Fabien were the focal point during the 10th edition of the Festival for the academic excellence award in Nde (Department of the Western Region) which was celebrated over the weekend in Bangangté, the capital of the Department.

The first, Ajamah Ghodsi, is a student at the bilingual high school who scored 17.20 average as consideration of entry into Lower sixth in the past school year. The second Konda Ulrich Fabien of the classical school of Balengou passed the baccalauréat C, the 2014 session with a score of 14.74. Each of them received a sum of 100,000 CFA francs from Marcel Niat Njifenji, President of the Senate, and sponsor of the event.

Young Ajamah Godlove revealed that his secret is hard work. "When I get home from classes, I do my home work, I read the notes from school before I sleep," he said. Formula, which Konda Ulrich Fabien admitted to have used, "I was studying day by day. The courses that I was unable to read during the week I read catch them on weekends', he said.

167 students from the Department were divided into 206 schools of more than 10,000 students. 10 million CFA francs were required for the 10th edition of the Festival of excellence on the 25 million harvested by the Organizing Committee. "The rest will be used in the construction of the multimedia centre in the Department", said Professor Chrispin Pettang, the permanent Secretary for the organisation of the event.
