PRESS RELEASE: LIMBE FESTIVAL OF ARTS AND CULTURE – LIMBE FESTAC

REGISTRATION MODALITIES FOR MARATHON ANNOUNCED

The Chairperson of the sub committee for Sports of the Limbe Festival of Arts and Culture, Mme Ekombe Pascaline has made available conditions for registration for the Limbe City Njalla Quan International Marathon which is being organized as part of the activities of the FESTAC

- Each prospective athlete shall pay registration fee of 2,000frs CFA - A medical certificate of not more than three months is demanded from each applicant

Registration points 1. For the North West Region - Divisional Delegation of Sports Mezam by the S.G of the North West Athletics Federation. - Divisional Delegation of Sports and Physical Education Bui Division ( Kumbo) 77 78 04 19

2. For the South West Region - Divisional Delegation of Sports and Physical Education Fako (75 14 43 56) - The Limbe City Council 76 03 51 09 - Divisional Delegation of Sports and Physical Education Kumba (75 07 48 81)

3. Centre Region - Parcours Vita Yaounde (76 26 19 41)

4. Littoral Region Secretary General of the Littoral Athletics Federation Mr. C Kwala (97 01 04 08) Latest date for registration is 25th March, 2014.

There shall be a medical examination of all the athletes on Friday, 11th April, 2014 at 3:00pm at the Divisional Delegation of Sports and Physical Education, Fako.

The Marathon race takes place on the Closing Day of the Festival Saturday April 12th and shall be run between Idenau and Limbe, covering 42 kilometers. Very handsome prizes shall be awarded to winners.
