The United Front continues its momentum with the operation "TERMINUS, 2018!

The United Front of the Diaspora for an Alternative in Cameroon held its second general meeting Saturday, May 30, 2015 in Brussels.

The members of the United Front arrived in small groups at the meeting ground where a good coffee from Cameroon was served. It was an opportunity for some of them to meet again since the General Assembly of the United Front was held in Paris on November 22.

All Member organizations were represented, and the tenors of the Front were there. General Robert Waffo, Kingue Kwate and Gervais Younkep among others, for the CCD. Dr. Moïse Essoh, Commissioner Junior Zogo, Dr. Patrice Ndjoumi, the fighter Emmanuel Kemta, the politician Emeh Elong for CODE, noting, however, the absence of the former Executive Secretary Tene Sop or combatant Brice Nitcheu, unfortunately prevented at the last minute by personal reasons.

For CAMDIAC, Prof. Jean Bosco Tagne came from the United States for the occasion. The presence of several other delegates of each of these organizations were noticed. Talla Chourey, invited as observer was allowed to give his opinion on some points on the debate.

After a brief review of operation and the actions of the United Front, the members carried out debates in a democratic atmosphere and a positive spirit that enabled them to arrive at consensual decisions.

To strengthen the effectiveness of the United Front, the General Assembly, supreme body of the movement, gave specific guidance to the Executive Board for the development of rules of procedure and a code of conduct within the United Front.

To improve the internal functioning of the Executive Board, coordinating body of the Front, it has also designated Dr. Moïse Essoh and General Robert Waffo Wanto Co-Secretaries of the Executive Board, responsible for follow-up of the implementation of the decisions of the group, and incidentally to represent administrative necessity.

The second part of the meeting, held behind closed doors was devoted to the strategy and the future actions of the United Front. Some information gathered indicated the determination of the United Front to focus on the objective to turn the page of Mr. Paul Biya in 2018, at the end of last term that the United Front officials consider illegitimate. The operation has been dubbed "2018! Last stop for Paul Biya.
