The MRC loses the North

The resignation of the first vice-president of the movement for the rebirth of Cameroon (MRC), Adam Djibrine, takes the appearance of a political rodeo.

August 19, 2014, he resigned from his duties, through a correspondence to Maurice Kamto, national president of the young political party.

"For personal conveniences, I regret to come to your high personality to submit to you my resignation from the post of vice-president of the Cameroon Renaissance movement ", he wrote.

In this terse letter, Adam Djibrine, hub of the CRM in the North did not linger on the reasons for his departure, a departure which seems to leave CRM speechless.

We remember that in multiple press conferences, Maurice Kamto has always boasted of the implantation of his party in the northern regions of the country especially in the Logone and Chari where the resigned, against all odds, links up to nibble the positions of the CPDM and UNDP.

With Adam Djibrine, CRM was radiating some visibility in that area. The party did not miss any opportunity to demonstrate especially during the National Day Parade May 20 and during the celebration of the feast of the youth on February 11.

He also participated in the coupled elections September 30, 2013. The activism of Adam was so fervent that Maurice Kamto wants to understand the reason for his resignation.

"I did not learn, during our telephone conversation the tragedy that struck you recently through the cowardly assassination of your 30 years old son, I learned this sad news on the occasion of our meeting and, obviously, no comrade of the national Board of the CRM was aware of the murder of your son. CRM, through my voice, express to you our condolences " wrote the president of the CRM.

But if Adam Djibrine remains silent on the reasons for his departure, the president of the CRM will not hesitate to link the resignation to the death of his son which occurred August 06, 2014, during the attack in Zigague village by the Boko Haram sect: "the shock of this event and the absurdity of the acts of the murderers who kill without distinction, you have probably decided to resign as first Vice-president of CRM. The party takes note of this decision and expresses its gratitude for the road travelled together in commitment and selflessness, since its inception," he wrote.

Therefore, for the CRM the murder of his son, Al-Shayid Youssef, justifies the departure of Adam Djibrine, a way to exclude all other reasons, including political.

To the disappointment of the direction of the CRM, the Donaldson family refutes this relationship of cause and effect. "Is not because of the death of his son, it's a pure coincidence," explained on social networks Mansour Adam Djibrine, son of the resigned.
